Not anymore. Our new MCP server gives AI a standard way to connect to your tools and the context inside them. Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Codex can now see the whole picture: the original customer signal, who asked for it and why, the business strategy, and the engineering reality, all at once.

Ask it to draft the ticket, write the spec, or check whether what you're building still matches what the customer needs. It gets it right the first time, because it's finally working from the same ingredients you are.

Why we built it this way

We built it to show up wherever you already work. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Claude.ai/Claude Desktop get full read and write; ChatGPT gets read access via search and fetch.

In the hamper, your agent can pull up the actual brief behind an opportunity, evidence included, read the Documents and Projects around it, and act: create a task, resolve one, or close the loop on the Linear or Jira issue behind it. Every connection is scoped to what you're allowed to see, same permissions as the web app.

Claude has always been happy to write you a spec. Now it can write you the right one, because it knows what the customer asked for, who else already tried this, and whether it still holds up three sprints later.

That's the bet: as more building gets done by AI, the tools that matter most aren't the ones generating output. They're the ones making sure it's grounded in something real. MCP is how Picnic earns a permanent seat at the table, by being useful every time you show up.
