Picnic's mission

Companies fail not because they cannot build, but because they build without enough context to know what should be built.
As organisations grow, that context becomes increasingly fragmented. Conversations happen in Slack. Decisions are made in meetings and buried in documents. Research lives in one system, analytics in another, customer insight somewhere else, and critical knowledge remains distributed across the people who happen to hold it. Every function generates an enormous amount of information, but very little of it is connected in a way that makes the whole organisation intelligible.
This creates a fundamental problem: companies are building the wrong things faster than ever.
The challenge is rarely a lack of activity, but rather a lack of visibility. Teams struggle to see the relationship between the work they are doing, the effort it requires, the impact it could create, and the context that should determine whether it ought to be done at all.
As a result, organisations spend huge amounts of time reconstructing context that already exists somewhere. What did we decide? Why did we decide it? What has changed? What are customers telling us? What are we learning? How much will this take? What impact might it have? And, ultimately, are we all working towards the same thing?
The cost of this fragmentation is more than inefficiency. It leads to duplicated effort, misaligned teams, slower decisions, and resources being invested in work that may never have been the right work to begin with. According to Pendo, its a collective waste of $29.5 billion every single year on developing or maintaining features that users never touch. Over time, it erodes one of the most important assets an organisation has: trust that everyone is moving in the same direction.
We built Picnic to change this.
Picnic is a multiplayer AI that finds the work, does the work, and aligns the work. It brings together the fragmented context surrounding an organisation, including: its decisions, conversations, research, signals, updates, and actions. Picnic then turns that context into something teams can reason about and act on, together.
Instead of asking people to navigate an ever-growing collection of tools, documents, channels, and systems to understand what is happening, Picnic makes the organisation itself more legible. It gives teams a shared understanding of what matters, why it matters, what has changed, what needs to happen next, and how their work connects to everyone else's.
Because the goal of collaboration isn't simply to help more people work faster.
It is to help everyone move faster in the right direction.
We believe the future of work is not more information, more tools, or more coordination overhead. It is a world in which AI can understand the work around us, participate in it, and help people make better decisions together.
That is the world we are building with Picnic.
We can't wait for you to join us.
With Love,
